JMJ Maternity Home

JMJ Maternity Home "JMJ Maternity Homes encourages the freedom of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every unborn child to have a chance at life."

JMJ Maternity Homes is a faith-based 501(3), that provides homeless pregnant women with shelter, resources, and support services in a nurturing Christian environment that reaffirms their inherent dignity and promotes self-sufficiency. Our transformational living program provides family-like nurturing and support; training and mentoring in the development of parenting and self-sufficiency skills; a

nd opportunities to practice independent living. Since 2007, JMJ Maternity Homes has helped over 45 women and their children. Our first home Mary's Mantle, was opened in April 2007, to provide shelter and services to homeless pregnant women 18 years and older. In June 2009, we moved to our current location in Atwater, graciously donated to us by the Diocese of Fresno, which allows us to provide shelter for up to 15 women and children. The JMJ Board of Directors is comprised of recognized members in our community committed to providing women and their children the opportunity for a better life. Our board is comprised of business leaders, public health professionals, educators, and philanthropists who tirelessly devote their expertise, time, and resources to our mission.
