🏃‍♀️ Today is Day 1 of the MSHSL Track & Field State Tournament!

Join us in sending off Kenlie Blom as she heads to state! The State Send-Off will take place today at 12:20 p.m. on the north side of the ACGC Elementary office doors.

Kenlie's events:
• 100-Meter High Hurdles Prelims — 3:30 p.m.
• 300-Meter Hurdles Prelims — approximately 5:04 p.m.

🇺🇸 Flag Retirement Ceremony 🇺🇸

The Atwater American Legion will be conducting a retirement ceremony for unserviceable American flags on Wednesday, June 10, at 6:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park in Atwater.

If you have a worn, torn, or faded American flag that is no longer fit for display, please drop it off at the Atwater City Office prior to June 10 or bring it directly to the park that evening.

Thank you for helping us honor our nation's flag with the dignity and respect it deserves.

🌱 Growing Minds, One Seed at a Time! 🌱

A big thank you to the children who participated in the Atwater Public Library Summer Reading Kick-Off and helped make the day a success. Participants planted seeds to take home and grow, while also helping plant two community planters—one that will be displayed at Atwater City Hall and another that will be featured at the Meeker County Fair 4-H Food Stand.

Special thanks to the Danielson Hustlers 4-H Club volunteers for leading the activity and to the City of Atwater Maintenance Department for transporting the City Hall planter.

We appreciate everyone who helped plant a little beauty and community spirit right here in Atwater! 🌼📚🌱

Wow, what a morning, Atwater!

Thanks to the efforts of our residents, we filled two 30-yard dumpsters and a third dumpster nearly full of scrap metal during today's Clean-Up Day!

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to clean up their properties and help make Atwater look its best. Your hard work makes a difference and shows the pride we have in our community. 🌟🏡

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Jeff's Auto Wrecking for working with the City to help make this event possible.

Let's keep the momentum going and continue the great work throughout the summer!

🚗 Traffic Flow: Please enter the Wellness Center parking lot from Minnesota Avenue (north side) and exit onto 4th Street to help keep traffic moving smoothly.

• Lumber and building materials (must be flattened or broken down)
• Scrap metal
• Materials from cleaning garages, sheds, and exterior property areas
• Large household items and debris that will not fit in your regular garbage cart

⛔ NOT ACCEPTED:
• Furniture (Couches)
• Appliances
• Electronics
• Mattresses and box springs
• Hazardous materials, chemicals, paint, and batteries
• Grass clippings, leaves, branches, brush, and other yard waste

This event is intended to help residents clean up properties and dispose of larger items that cannot be handled through regular garbage service.
