Attleboro School-to-Career Partnership

Attleboro School-to-Career Partnership Providing work-based learning opportunities to help students prepare for entering the workforce!

We support Attleboro High School, North Attleboro High School, Mansfield High School, Norton High School & Seekonk High School. The Attleboro School to Work Local Partnership was created in 1995 as a result of the National School to Work Opportunities Act. In 2000, the Partnership incorporated to become the Attleboro Area School-To-Career Partnership, Inc. Our team of talented Career Specialists a

re located right within the high schools to engage with students and provide work and learning opportunities. These include job referrals, job shadows & informational interviews, career exploration activities, career counseling, career readiness workshops, field trips, and much more! Currently more than 500 "Employer Partners" have collaborated with us to provide over 1,500 internships and full-time positions for students in our school districts. Working together, we have developed tools and trainings for career development at local companies that help students obtain the necessary skills needed to be successful in the workplace. Through strong connections with local businesses, we work closely with each school district to ensure that all students have ample opportunities to participate in activities that strengthen their career development. Our goal is to expand on classroom learning by fostering the connection between school and the workforce. If you are interested in learning more, check out our website or contact your school's Career Specialist for details!

What an incredible Electric Boat Interview Day for our students! 👏

Some of our graduating seniors had the opportunity to interview for exciting career paths that offer hands-on, on-the-job training in a variety of fields. We’re proud to share that many students received job offers on the spot!

We’re so proud of how our students showed up, prepared, and took full advantage of this amazing opportunity. This is what meaningful, real-world learning looks like in action!

Last week, our Personal Finance students stepped into their futures with the “Credit for Life” simulation! They navigated the financial realities of adulthood—balancing careers, education, and lifestyle goals to see if their budgets could go the distance.

This event wouldn’t be possible without our amazing local organizations and businesses who shared their expertise!
A special shout-out to our Career Specialist, Mrs. Magit, and our Personal Finance teachers for organizing such an authentic, high-impact experience for our students.
