Over the winter break, Petty Officer 2nd Class Baker was a League Cadet EMS Staff cadet at Newport Naval Base in Rhode Island. Cadets were able to earn their certifications for Stop the Bleed, First Aid, CPR, and AED. Being able to have Petty Officer Baker and other EMS staff lead the younger cadets of our future made her first time at Newport a memorable experience. With how interactive, motivated, and intelligent each cadet was, it made the overall training experience so much more enjoyable for everyone.
