Last night, I had the honor of being named one of James Magazine’s Exceptional State Lawmakers of the Year. This recognition is truly an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to represent the people of Georgia’s 20th Senate District.

I also want to congratulate my friend Griff Lynch, President and CEO of the Georgia Ports Authority, on being named James Magazine’s 2026 Georgian of the Year.

Lastly, I would like to thank Phil Kent and the entire James Magazine staff for this honor and for putting on such a wonderful event.
