On Thursday, an unforseen, very random tragedy occurred on the popular
, a fatal While some see as a cause, look at the fact the suspect knew how to carry out one attack after another while riding a bike and maneuver from each scene. Majority of crimes are "not" random. ATLANTA - The woman stabbed to death on the Beltline has been identified as 23-year-old Alyssa Paige, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

The backstory:

Paige was killed by a 21-year-old man Thursday afternoon while she was on the Beltline. Officials confirmed to FOX 5 that the stabbing happened near the 1700 block of Flagler Avenue NE.

Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said the department was alerted around 12:10 p.m. that a woman had been stabbed just north of the Montgomery Ferry Drive overpass. She was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where she later died.

According to officers, the man responsible attacked a U.S. Postal worker prior to the stabbing before getting away on a bike. He then used that bike to flee the scene of the stabbing as well.

After 4 years, possible closure for the family of who was considered a in the area. The boyfriend was set to stand trial next week. Now, postponed after the discovery of human remains.

... Anderson's boyfriend, Tony Berry, was later arrested and charged with kidnapping and murder after her DNA was allegedly found in the trunk of his car, which was discovered burned in a wooded area in Newberry County.

More recently, Aiken County deputies reported that they found human remains buried off Highway 37 near Blackville, per WRDW. While DNA testing is still ongoing, officials believe the remains may belong to the missing mother.

HE DISAPPEARED WHILE WORKING DOORDASH — THEN HIS CAR WAS FOUND ON FIRE

THE DISAPPEARANCE OF CARLOS REYES
Danbury, Connecticut — March 29, 2022

Carlos Reyes was only 20 years old when he vanished while working as a DoorDash driver.

Family and friends describe Carlos as hardworking, humble, and constantly on the move trying to make money. He spent long hours driving through Danbury, Waterbury, and Naugatuck completing delivery orders and doing what he could to build a future for himself.

On March 29, 2022, Carlos was out making deliveries like usual.

At some point during the night, all contact with him stopped.

No more calls.
No more messages.
No explanation.

Then the situation became even more disturbing.

The following night, investigators discovered Carlos’s gray 2008 Infiniti abandoned and burned on Old Milltown Road in Brewster, New York — just over the Connecticut state line.

Someone had intentionally set the vehicle on fire.

Authorities immediately suspected foul play.

Investigators now believe Carlos may have encountered someone in Danbury and was possibly robbed and killed before his vehicle was driven into New York and burned in an attempt to destroy evidence.

Days later, law enforcement expanded their search efforts.

On April 7, 2022, authorities searched a pond near Ball Pond Road and Pondcrest Road in Danbury hoping to find evidence connected to Carlos’s disappearance.

Nothing was recovered.

No remains.
No confirmed suspects.
No answers.

More than three years later, Carlos Reyes is still missing.

His family continues living with the agony of uncertainty — not knowing where he is, what happened to him, or who is responsible for his disappearance.

Carlos was 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed approximately 170 pounds at the time he vanished.

For the people who love him, silence has become its own kind of torture.

Someone knows what happened after Carlos made those final deliveries.

Second US Army Soldier, 19, Found Dead After Moroccan Training Exercise

The body of the second of two missing U.S. soldiers has been recovered by joint military forces in Morocco after a training mission went awry, concluding a days-long search that ended in heartbreak.

The soldier was identified in a press release by U.S. Army Europe and Africa as Spc. Mariyah Symone Collington, 19, of Tavares, Fla. Collington served as an air and missile defense crewmember and was assigned to Charlie Battery, 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command.

Collington is the second of two American service members to be found after vanishing May 2 near the Cap Draa Training Area during a major multinational military exercise known as African Lion 26. On May 9, the service announced the recovery of the body of 1st Lt. Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., a 27-year-old Army air defense officer from Richmond, Va.

The Army said May 13 that U.S. Air Force para-rescuemen with the 406th Air Expeditionary Wing, Moroccan military mountaineers, and Moroccan Civil Protection located and retrieved Collington on May 12 from a coastal cave roughly 500 meters from where both she and Key reportedly entered the ocean.

"Challenging ocean conditions, coastal terrain and the cave’s accessibility complicated search and recovery operations throughout the effort," the service said, adding that with a concluded search the focus now "shifts to recovery and repatriation."

“The loss of Spc. Collington is a profound loss for the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command,” said Brig. Gen. Curtis King, commanding general of the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, in a statement. “Her recovery closes the search for our two missing soldiers, but our commitment to caring for their families, friends, and teammates continues.

This story is sad & gets worse as more details emerge. 16 -year old is now back in a NC detention facing 3 counts of and felony conspiracy. So the father (victim) was allegedly getting a restraining order against the 28-yr old suspect when this tragedy struck. Word is, the poor pets at the home were killed too. Grant & Loving allegedly were at a hotel 4-5 days after the murders together. I believe the father (victim) biological daughter found their bodies. -

16-year-old Murder Suspect Extradited to Buncombe County

Buncombe County, NC -16-year-old Star Grant arrived in Buncombe County at 12:25 this afternoon, where warrants were served for three counts of First-Degree Murder and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Murder. She is charged as an adult and is being held without bond. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office has been advised that she will be housed in a juvenile detention facility in Alexander County.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A deadly Mother’s Day shooting in northwest Charlotte is under investigation.

Police say they responded to an address along Rozzelles Ferry Road, between Lawton Road and Hovis Road, just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

Two men were found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds, officers said. One was pronounced dead at the scene, according to paramedics. The other was hospitalized but died a short time later.

The victims have been identified as Tionte Lamont Morrison, 25, and Keith Abraham Wallace, 34.

There was no immediate word on a motive or any outstanding suspects. It is unclear whether the shooting victims were known to each other.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen what happened, or who has any other information about the shooting, to call homicide detectives at 704-432-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted using the P3 Mobile App.
