Interested in becoming a lifeguard? City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation is offering upcoming Lifeguard Training sessions for ages 15+.

Learn essential lifeguarding skills through American Red Cross training and take the first step toward a rewarding job as a City of Atlanta lifeguard.

Training is FREE if you are hired by the City of Atlanta!

On Eva Davis Day, we honor her contributions by continuing to build community, uplift families, support education, and celebrate the people who make East Lake special.

Applications are now open for Start:ME - a free training program for small business owners in four metro Atlanta communities: Clarkston, East Lake, Atlanta's Southside, and Westside Atlanta. Start:ME connects local entrepreneurs to business know-how, supportive networks, and grant capital to build and grow successful businesses. The 2027 program will be primarily in-person with 2 virtual sessions. Learn more and apply by Oct 1st at startmeatl.org/apply.
