CAT & DOG FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED!

Have you seen the Bella’s Blessings pet-food boxes at Halpern Park and Brook Park? These boxes provide free pet food and essential supplies to local community members facing financial hardship—helping keep pets healthy, cared for, and at home with their families rather than entering shelters.

Donations and supplies are especially needed for the Halpern Park box, with CAT FOOD being especially needed!

Donations of the following are also welcome:
Unopened wet & dry dog food
Unopened wet & dry cat food
Unopened chews & treats
Toys
Leashes & collars
Food & water bowls

Drop donations directly in the Halpern Park box located at
2562 Tilly Mill Rd, Doraville, GA

You can also drop donations at Doraville City Hall or the Police Department located at 2421 Van Fleet Circle, Doraville, GA

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference! Thank you for helping local pets stay happy, healthy, and with the families who love them.

Aloha, movie lovers! Join us for a summer night at the park featuring Lilo & Stitch on Friday, July 31, at Honeysuckle Park at 7 p.m.
Bring a blanket, enjoy the evening, and come early for our Back-to-School Clothing & School Supply Swap. The movie begins when the sun goes down!
If you have any extra, gently used clothing or school supplies, donate them now at Forest Fleming Arena until July 30!

We're helping our partners at Doraville's Honeysuckle Park spread the word about their upcoming Back-to-School Supplies & Clothing Swap on Friday, July 31 at 7:00 PM!

Do you have new or gently used clothing or school supplies you'd like to donate? Your generosity can help local students and families get ready for the new school year.

Donations can be dropped off at the Honeysuckle Park Arena, located at 3037 Pleasant Valley Drive, Doraville.

After the clothing swap, stick around and enjoy a free showing of Lilo & Stitch as part of Doraville's Summer Movie Series!

Fifteen years ago this November, Detective Robert Shane Wilson made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting his community. A dedicated member of the Doraville Police Department, Detective Wilson was killed in the line of duty after being struck by a wrong-way intoxicated driver. He was only 27 years old, yet his courage, commitment, and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

As we observe National Police Week and honor law enforcement officers who gave their lives in service to others, we remember Detective Wilson and the countless heroes taken far too soon. His sacrifice will never be forgotten, and his legacy continues to live on through the department he proudly served, the family and friends who loved him, and the community that still remembers his dedication.

We honor his memory today and always.

Today marks the 26th anniversary of the line of duty death of Doraville Police Department Investigator Hugo F. Arango.

Time may pass, but grief and loss do not carry an expiration date. Twenty-six years later, we still feel the absence of Hugo and continue to honor the sacrifice he made while serving our community.

Hugo was more than a member of the Doraville Police Department — he was a member of the Doraville community. He was a friend, a protector, and a public servant who dedicated his life to others.

Today, and every day, we remember Investigator Hugo F. Arango, his service, and the legacy he left behind.
