Legislation set for discussion at the June 1 Full Council meeting includes two items with the PATH Foundation, Inc.: an $8 million project management agreement for the PATH Westside Corridor and Safety Improvements Project, and a $504,000 amendment to the project management agreement for the PATH 400 Trail from Loridans Drive to the Sandy Springs city limits.
Council will also review a resolution requesting the City Auditor’s Office to conduct a performance and outcomes audit of the City Housing Help Center, as well as an ordinance establishing the citywide ATL Fresh & Free Food Distribution Program.

Councilmember Andrea L. Boone and Vice-Chair Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman hosted a joint City of Atlanta and Fulton County Town Hall at the Harriet G. Darnell Center.

The discussion focused on key issues affecting the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Corridor, including resources for the unhoused, illegal gaming machines, community cleanliness, and public safety.

Neighbors and faith leaders shared their concerns directly with officials. The goal of the event was to promote transparency, provide important updates, and gather candid feedback to help strengthen the community.
