Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month!
From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
Here in Avondale Estates, our community is made stronger by the many cultures, stories, and traditions that make our city what it is. This month, we’re celebrating the people, businesses, artists, families, and traditions that continue to shape our community. ❤️
In partnership with the Avondale Arts Alliance, we’re excited to bring another beautiful outdoor exhibit featuring the work of Latin artists to the Town Green. Take a stroll through the exhibit, enjoy the artwork, and celebrate the creativity and perspectives of artists from across the Latin community. 🎨✨
Take a stroll through our back green and enjoy our StoryWalk® featuring “Alma and How She Got Her Name” by Juana Martinez-Neal. Read it north to south in Spanish or walk south to north for English. 📖💛
There’s plenty to see, read, and celebrate in Avondale this Hispanic Heritage Month!! 🎉
