이준호 총영사는 6.1(월)~6.2(화) 간 조지아주 서배너 지역을 방문, 현대메타플랜트 스포티지 하이브리드 생산 기념식에 참석하여 축사를 전달하였습니다. 또한, 행사에 참석한 브라이언 켐프주지사와 면담을 갖고 한-조지아 간 경제협력 증진 방안에 대해 협의하였습니다. 아울러 동포 간담회 및 진출기업 간담회를 각각 개최하여 동포사회와 기업들의 주요 현안에 대해 의견을 교환하였습니다.
'Consul General’s Visit to Savannah, Georgia (Attendance at Hyundai Metaplant Event, Meeting with the Governor, and Meetings with the Korean Community and Business Leaders)'
Consul General Joon Ho Lee visited Savannah, Georgia, from Monday, June 1, to Tuesday, June 2. During his visit, he attended the commemoration ceremony for the production of the Hyundai Metaplant Sportage Hybrid and delivered a congratulatory address. He also met with Brian Kemp, the Governor of Georgia, to discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation between South Korea and the state of Georgia. Additionally, the Consul General hosted separate meetings with members of the Korean community and representatives of Korean businesses operating in the region to discuss support measures for both groups.
