Gateway Center

Gateway Center GWC is a proven leader in the Atlanta community and has positioned ourselves to be adaptable to respond to the needs of those experiencing homelessness.

GWC provides more than 330 places for men who enter into programs geared to address the underlying reasons for their homelessness, such as unemployment, addictions, mental illness or domestic abuse. The Gateway Center is filled to capacity nearly every day of the year. Including those people who turn to the Gateway Center for point in time services (bathrooms and showers, laundry, clothing, storage, clinic), we serve over 500 people every day.

“At Gateway Center, we meet people where they are and provide the resources and support they need to move toward stability and a permanent home,” said Raphael Holloway, Chief Executive Officer, Gateway Center.

“For many of the individuals we serve, limited access to technology can be a significant barrier. This AT&T Connected Learning Center will help remove that barrier, giving our guests an important tool to build skills, connect with services and take their next step. We appreciate AT&T’s support of our mission and investment in the potential of every person who comes through our doors.”

Gateway Center is proud to celebrate the opening of the AT&T Connected Learning Center. It’s a space designed to give those experiencing homelessness access to technology, digital skills, career resources and, most importantly, opportunity.

Thank you, AT&T, for investing in possibility. You’re helping create a place where our guests can learn, build and take meaningful steps toward a brighter, more connected future.

To Mayor Andre Dickens, Atlanta dignitaries, local leaders, community members, and so many people protecting the lives of some of our most vulnerable friends experiencing homelessness thank you for being there and joining us during this momentous occasion. We are grateful for your partnership and your belief that everyone deserves access to the tools and resources they need to thrive.
