GLS is partnering with Compassionate Atlanta at CompassionCon this weekend. Join us at Decatur Legacy Park on Sunday, October 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for this free all-ages event! We will be in the Be My Neighbor Day section with Daniel Tiger and Georgia Public Broadcasting , and everyone is invited to come play with our big foam dinosaur bones and spin the prize wheel.

Thanks to librarian Trey at The Galloway School for inviting us to talk to future leaders this morning about how living with blindness is not about limitations, but tools for success. We had a great time informing and empowering another class of Galloway fourth-graders with knowledge about GLS and the work we do!

Our friends at Georgia Public Broadcasting invite you to a free virtual film screening next Tuesday, October 21 at 2 p.m., hosted by Move to Include and ReelAbilities International. Two short films on employment and disability will be presented, followed by a discussion. The Metro Atlanta We CARE Veterans Fair is one week from tomorrow: Thursday, October 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cobb County Civic Center! It's 100% free, and GLS will be there, so come see us and grab your chance to talk to people from the many other partner organizations and agencies who will be there to help you. It's not just for veterans: the We CARE Vet Fair has plenty to offer current military service members, military families, caregivers and survivors.

The Cobb County Civic Center address is 548 South Marietta Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060.
