This year's theme, Rising Together: Centering Youth Voices to End Gender-Based Violence, reminds us of the importance of including young people in conversations about prevention, healing, and change.

Young people are disproportionately impacted by intimate partner violence, sexual assault, grooming, and exploitation, yet their perspectives and experiences are too often overlooked.

Together, we can listen, learn, advocate, and amplify youth voices in support of a future free from violence.

Today is , and we’re joining YWCA USA and sister YWCAs around the world to call attention to the fact that child marriage is still allowed in 33 states across the U.S.

Child marriage creates barriers to education and financial stability and significantly increases the likelihood that children will experience domestic violence into adulthood.

At YWCA Greater Atlanta, we are committed to breaking down barriers to education, leadership, and economic empowerment so girls can build resilient futures for themselves and their communities.

This year’s featured book, “Every Amazing Song,” by Coy Bowles and Malcolm Mitchell, takes children on a musical adventure exploring rhythm, creativity, and self-expression.
