JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION TODAY: City leaders are expecting this year’s event to be their largest Juneteenth Celebration yet. The free ticketed event, which brings residents together for an evening of music, culture, and community, is already SOLD OUT.

Doors open at 4 p.m., and all guests must have a ticket to enter the venue. Free parking will be available onsite.

For the safety of all attendees, prohibited items include:
-Glass bottles
-Weapons of any kind
-Illegal drugs or paraphernalia
-Animals (except service animals)
-Fireworks or lighters
-No spreading ice in coolers (keep ice bagged until safety inspection has been completed)

THIS EVENING: Bell’s Rhythms Revealed is back! Join Mayor Pro Tem and District 5 Councilwoman Keosha B. Bell for Bell's Rhythms Revealed on Saturday, June 13, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Burdett Park!

This event will feature a blend of live jazz and R&B performances by Dee Hibbert & IndigoKat Soul Band along with a performance by Grammy-winning artist & Founding Member of the Group 112 Q Parker, spoken word presentations, and visual art exhibits from local artists.

Designed as an evening of cultural enrichment and community connection, this event is open exclusively to City of South Fulton residents. We hope to see you there!

TODAY: Mayor Carmalitha Gumbs, in partnership with the Make Justice Healing and the Ocasio Feliciano Foundation for Safer Futures, is hosting the South Fulton Safe Summer Kickoff in honor of Gun Violence Awareness Month.

Date: Saturday, June 13
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Cliftondale Center
4645 Butner Rd., South Fulton, GA 30349

This event is designed to help keep our youth safe. Through practical education, life-saving response strategies, and community connection, this event will provide valuable tools to help protect our youth and strengthen community awareness.

Attendees will learn about gun safety and responsible storage, first aid/life-saving response training, gain access to mental wellness support, and explore local resources available that are dedicated to safer, healthier communities.

Whether you are a parent, youth advocate, community member, or concerned resident, this event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and take part in a shared mission to protect our youth this summer.

Participants are encouraged to wear orange to honor the lives of people affected by gun violence.

TONIGHT: The City of South Fulton’s District 6 Councilwoman Natasha Williams-Brown, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and the South Fulton Police Department are excited to invite local youth to the L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) Takeover, an evening created especially for teens to connect, compete, and have fun in a safe and positive environment.

Join us for a night packed with energy, entertainment, and activities designed to encourage leadership, teamwork, and community engagement while giving teens a space to simply enjoy themselves with friends this summer. There will also be a special performance from Big Marco & Friends!
