The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta

The Furniture Bank’s vision is for every family to have the furniture they need. WE PICK UP in most of Fulton, Cobb, Dekalb and Gwinnett.

The Furniture Bank collects and recycles gently-used donated furniture, giving it to individuals and families moving out of homelessness and fleeing domestic violence as well as countless others struggling to make ends meet.

Let's hear it for our August Drivers of the Month! 🎉

Chris earned Best Driver 🏆 and Most Improved 🏆 for his strong safety scores and performance, and Zip was named Best Teammate 🏆 in recognition of his excellent attitude and teamwork.

We’re so proud of Chris and Zip and grateful for all our drivers do to pickup and deliver furniture across Metro Atlanta. Our mission to make a house a home wouldn't be possible without their hard work.

One year ago today, our world changed.

On June 18, 2025, a devastating fire destroyed the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta warehouse and thousands of pieces of furniture earmarked for local families in need. We faced uncertainty in the days that followed, but we were never alone.

Because of YOU, the Furniture Bank mission lived on. ❤️

Over the past year, generous supporters from across our community rallied around us with incredible kindness. You offered furniture, funds, time, and encouragement when we needed it most and ensured that clients could continue receiving the essentials that turn houses into homes.

Today, we’re filled with gratitude and hope for what’s ahead. Thanks to your support, we’ve moved into a new 48,000-square-foot warehouse, expanded our fleet, and are making exciting renovations to create the perfect new home for the Furniture Bank! This larger space will allow us to store more furniture and serve even more families throughout Metro Atlanta.

While there is still work to do before we are fully recovered, we are continuing to make tremendous strides. None of this progress would have been possible without the extraordinary people and organizations who stood beside us in our darkest moment.

Thank you for helping us keep our mission alive. Thank you for believing in the power of home. And thank you for proving that even after loss, hope and community can build something even stronger.

We're excited to join forces with peers across the country to strengthen our impact and help more families turn empty spaces into warm, stable homes. 🏡

Today, PeachSkinSheets donated over 100 sheet sets to the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta to support the “Making a House a Home” program.
Through this program, individuals and families can select essential furnishings to help create a fresh start in a warmly furnished and welcoming home.
Supporting non-profits through meaningful partnerships is an important part of what PeachSkinSheets does, and we’re proud to work alongside the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta to support families across our community.
