The world came to Atlanta. And Atlanta showed up.

From the beginning, Mayor Andre Dickens made one thing clear: the FIFA World Cup 2026™ would happen with Atlanta, not to Atlanta.

Now, ATL & Beyond tells the story of how we delivered.

Across eight matches and a summer unlike any other, City of Atlanta employees and partners worked across public safety, transportation, parks, infrastructure, aviation, technology, human rights, small business support, neighborhood engagement and more to welcome the world — while creating investments and improvements that will continue serving Atlantans long after the final whistle.
ATL & Beyond is our record of that work, our celebration of the people who made it happen and, most importantly, our legacy for the residents of Atlanta.

The matches are over. The impact is not.

Take us back Tuesday to the grand opening of Condesa Coffee in Grant Park!

The celebration marked the locally owned Atlanta business’s second location and another investment right here at home. Located along the Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail, the new space brings Condesa’s commitment to community, local entrepreneurs, creators and artists to another Atlanta neighborhood.

Here are more highlights from the celebration as we welcome Condesa to Grant Park. Have you stopped by yet? Tell us your favorite drink or menu item in the comments!

Atlanta, we’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉🌎

This month, we honor the rich cultures, traditions and contributions of Atlanta’s Hispanic and Latino communities and the many ways they help shape the city we call home.

For generations, Hispanic and Latino Atlantans have enriched our city through their culture, entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership and commitment to community. ❤️

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!

Atlanta, here’s another look at Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s Annual Patron Party, celebrating the supporters, advocates and partners committed to protecting one of our region’s most important natural resources.

Through continued partnership, accountability and investment, we’re working to improve water quality, address stormwater challenges and protect the Chattahoochee River for generations to come.

Thank you to everyone committed to responsible stewardship.

Atlanta, here’s another look at one of the experiences that makes our city special.
Thousands gathered at Piedmont Park for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Concert in the Park, enjoying world-class orchestral music free and open to the community.
It’s a reminder that the arts are part of what connects us, shapes Atlanta’s culture and makes our city a place where people want to live, work and visit.

Thank you to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, its musicians and everyone who helped continue this Atlanta tradition.

Atlanta, being prepared starts with having a plan.
During National Preparedness Month, take time to create a Family Emergency Plan. Talk with your household about what to do during an emergency, consider everyone’s specific needs, create your plan and practice it together.
A little planning today can help everyone know what to do when it matters most.
