We are incredibly grateful for another year of strong support for Georgia’s Farm to Food Bank Program! 🌱🍑

This year, $825,000 has been awarded to eight regional food banks across Georgia, helping provide fresh, Georgia-grown produce and protein to more than 430,000 neighbors facing food insecurity.

A heartfelt thank you to Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Georgia Grown and the Georgia General Assembly for continuing to champion this important partnership — and to the farmers and producers whose hard work makes it possible.

Farm to Food Bank is a win for Georgia on every side: it supports our farmers, reduces food waste and helps ensure nutritious food reaches families and neighbors who need it most. Each year, the program helps provide more than 14 million pounds of food across our state.

We are proud to partner together to strengthen Georgia communities and help move our state toward a future where no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

That's not a statistic — that's a coworker, a classmate, a kid two doors down. Hunger doesn't always look the way you'd expect, and in Georgia it's closer than most people think.

Here's the good news: it's solvable. Every meal we move through our network of food banks is a step toward a Georgia where no one goes without.
