Today, the Gwinnett County Solicitor General’s Office proudly recognizes and celebrates Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of African Americans throughout our nation’s history.
Juneteenth serves as an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of freedom, equality, and justice for all. As we honor this important day, we remain committed to fostering a community built on respect, inclusion, and equal access to justice.
Happy Juneteenth as we celebrate freedom, history, and progress together.
