Bleu: The Fight for Freedom

Bleu is a child who became the victim of trafficking under the influence of corrupt forces. As her mother has also endured the evils of trafficking in the past, the fight to ensure Bleu’s freedom and stop the traffickers has begun.

Coming from a background of being trafficked and used for breeding, Bleu’s mother firmly refused to sell her daughter while pregnant, because she was fully aware of what that meant. However, the existence of corruption in Child Services and courts has lead to Bleu being taken away. The professionals who were treating her mother spoke out against this, but to no avail. This resulted in the fact that Bleu got sent out of her state to be trafficked at only 4 years old, and her mother being supervised by one of the traffickers for 1 hour every week.

August 2023 was when the effects of the trafficking became clear to Bleu’s mother, as during her visit of Bleu she got to see photos of Bleu’s injuries from being assaulted, as well as Bleu being able to describe the assaults in detail. In spite of this visible evidence of the abuse, Bleu continues to be trafficked over a year after being taken away. Reports have been made to authorities as well, but as the traffickers’ group has a lot of social influence, they didn’t have any results.

Ivy, as this is the name of Bleu’s mother, has dedicated all of her efforts to the fight for Bleu’s safe return to her family. And as much as the traffickers are trying to stop her, with a total of 20 murder attempts from them in a year, Ivy will not stop struggling for as long as she breaths.

The creation of Bleu’s Rainbow serves as a way to spread the word about the case of Bleu. Not only that, but as the fight for her freedom becomes known to the public and Bleu will finally return to Ivy one day, this whole movement also seeks to help other children and families who are victims of trafficking, with the goal of providing them with safety and support.

Awareness about human trafficking and hope for the victims of it are the key elements that Ivy and Bleu want the meaning of their story to be shaped around.

We demand the rescue and safe return of 5 year old Bleu Sonya-Taylor McKay.

For a while we have been making plans to collect donations of arts and craft supplies for a peer support group for survivors. Many of us find a lot of healing in adult coloring, scrapbooking, paper crafts, candle making, jewelry making etc. I know many people plan to donate supplies they no longer use. We are hoping to get some of these supplies donated so we can get started with our group. We will be accepting donations in Portland to see how this project goes. Please sign this petition. We have 1145 signatures so far. Your signature could make all the difference to get Bleu McKay rescued. Bleu Mckay is a s*xed trafficked 5 year old child. Bleu's mother Ivy McAssey has had 20 attempts to kill her by the trafficking ring in a little over a year 4 of which have been in the last month. Please support the campaign to get Bleu to safety.

Please sign this petition to demand the system who failed 5 year old s*x trafficking victim Bleu McKay finally step up and rescue her. Bleu deserves safety and justice. Trinna and Ramone Johnson should not be able to be a school teacher and park ranger while they traffick children. The Cobb County School District and Georgia State Parks need to fire them before they abuse more children they meet at work.

Being a human trafficking survivor let alone one who's 5 year old is s*x trafficked still is never easy. This is the ok, bad, ugly & evil of living as a survivor. You often cannot go places because it is too dangerous. Even when I do eventually get Bleu back I will still struggle in my day to day life as a survivor & mother of a child survivor. Neither is easy to live through.
