A major step forward for innovation, accessibility, and sustainability in our parks system!

The City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the official launch of Throne Labs smart restroom technology at Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, along with several other parks and high-traffic public spaces across the city.

Through our partnership with Throne Labs, Atlanta is investing in cleaner, safer, and more accessible public spaces for residents and visitors alike as we continue preparing to welcome the world ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

These smart restrooms are designed to enhance the visitor experience by creating a more welcoming environment for everyone who enjoys our parks and public spaces.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone, and to our partners at Throne Labs for helping us reimagine what modern park infrastructure can look like in the City of Atlanta.

Getting into a Throne is easier than you think — we promise. We offer 4 ways in because we want *everyone* to have access, whether you have a smartphone or not. We’re not about keeping people out, but making sure the next person walks into something clean.
