The Metro Atlanta Arts & Culture Coalition (MAACC) is a regional nonprofit organization collaborating with local governments, business & civic leaders, funders and arts leaders – for the purpose of supporting arts and culture across the region by:

Increasing awareness of Metro Atlanta’s cultural events, venues and offerings through AtlantaPlanIt.com a comprehensive online guide to arts & culture

representing more than 450 arts groups in a six county region. Ability to provide up to date, accurate, cultural content from Atlanta PlanIt to any website requesting a calendar, including Convention & Visitors Bureau websites. Developing programs and disseminating information that increase region-wide awareness of the importance and value of arts and culture. Advocating and building community support for increased arts attendance and public policy issues affecting the arts and arts funding. An annual Arts Leadership program that exposes civic & business leaders to the arts in the ten county region.

This is the last week to apply for the 2016 Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta Class! As an added bonus, folks taking part in the class this year will kick off their participation with free tickets to the Metro Atlanta Arts Fund Luncheon!

The Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta class was created to encourage leaders throughout the community to take an active role in solving the issues and challenges facing the region’s arts and culture community.

We are conducting our fifth annual nationwide survey examining the current state of the nonprofit sector, and we hope that you will help us make sure that the voices of arts and culture organizations are adequately represented. Last year, more than 800 arts and culture organizations responded to the survey. The survey, which is anonymous and takes only 10 minutes to fill out, collects data on important financial and management issues facing the nonprofit sector.
