We’re putting the finishing touches on Celebration Park! 🌳✨
A few final elements are still being completed, including a row of 3-foot planters/safety barriers between the Main Street sidewalk and park area, water quality testing for the koi that will arrive next month, colorful outdoor furniture, and trash receptacles.

Thank you for your patience as we complete these final details. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the finished space!

30 years of service celebrated for Sergeant Peggy Franklin.

From her start in 1996 in 911 Communications during the Olympic era, to becoming a sworn officer in 2000 and a charter member of the REACH Unit, Sgt. Franklin has helped shape community policing in Conyers for decades.

Today, she continues her commitment as SRO Sergeant at CJ Hicks Elementary—building trust, safety, and connection every step of the way. Congratulations on 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Conyers.
