**Street Line Striping Beginning 6/1/2026**
Atkinson will begin painting/striping the yellow and white street lines on the newly paved roads on the morning of 6/1/2026 and go through until 6/2/2026. The painting will begin on Westside Drive and move to Walker, Sawmill, Christine, Summit, Wood and Sunset. Please proceed with caution and be aware of "WET PAINT" signs and cones.

🌳 Tree Giveaway at Town Hall 🌳

We still have some Silver Maple and Black Walnut trees available to give away!

Stop by in front of Town Hall on Wednesday, May 27, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, before the Conservation Commission Meeting begins, to pick one up while supplies last.

**Atkinson Memorial Day Parade Weather Update**

The 2026 Atkinson Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to the rain, HOWEVER, the Memorial Ceremony will still be held at the Atkinson Fire Station at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 25th. The Fire Department will hold a BBQ following the ceremony and the Community Band will play in honor of the memorial.

The Historical Society will have the Kimball House museum open from 10:30 AM-12 Noon.

The Conservation Commission tree giveaway will take place rain or shine next to the Kimball House from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon while supplies last!

We invite residents of all ages to attend the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25 at 10:30 AM. Bring your family, friends, and community spirit as we celebrate and pay tribute together.

The parade will be weather permitting, but the Community Band will play regardless of the weather at the Fire Station.
