"Sooo... I have news. After three years away from radio, and building the podcast for the last 2 1/2 years, I'm ready to ride those terrestrial airwaves again! Starting September 9 Scene Mom Says will premiere on WVAO 105.9 FM Athol/Orange. It's a fantastic LPFM station I discovered through The Open Mic with Dave Herrera, and the amazing Liz Walber charmed me just enough to make me want to dip my mic back in.
The show will be a modified version of the podcast. I'll still be bringing you music news and history, but I'll also start covering events in MA and eventually bringing guests in the studio (baby steps). AND more music! Honestly sharing my favorite indie and mainstream music with people is what I truly love doing. Then I will upload the shows to the podcast feed, still releasing on Thursdays.
