Here at Cutthroat Brook Tree Farm, we are sad to tell everyone that our magnificent Triple Oak has succumbed to her age and stress. It was not stormy on the night it happened, so we suspect that the tree's giant weight and size, combined with some rot in its trunk, caused it to just collapse. We are heartbroken to see Madame Oak on the ground, but at least one of her trunks is still standing and will hopefully survive, We think fondly of all the folks who have climbed on, stood under, met at, and otherwise loved her. Feel free to come by and say farewell to a Grand Old Lady.
