A reminder that all Athens Regional Libraries will be closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

You will still be able to place holds on items for future pick-up through PINES and our digital collection is always available for your convenience via Libby, the Palace Project, and Kanopy!

We will resume regular operating hours the following day, Tuesday, September 8th.

We are taking storytime outside (again)! Join Miss Erika and friends at Dudley Park's Flower Amphitheater for our outdoor storytime at 10 am every Friday morning during the month of September. Bring children five and under to enjoy stories, songs, scarves, and instruments with new (and old) friends. This program is in partnership with Athens-Clarke County Trails and Open Space.

Athens-Clarke County is seeking artists for a public mural at our new Eastside Library!

The call is open to professional artists or artist teams aged 18 and older. The selected artist will work with community stakeholders and county staff to create a mural celebrating Athens’ history, diversity, and sense of community.
