That's how three-time cancer survivor and City of Athens Gas Department employee Mike Kuykendall sums up his mission called Faith Over Fear.

Today, we are shining the local spotlight on Mike and his wife, Diana, for their efforts to provide care baskets for others undergoing cancer treatment.

Supporting Santa...

The Athens Gas Department employees decided to pool funds together to sponsor a little boy in need this Christmas. Employee Ashley Harris spurred and coordinated the effort.

"I'm really proud of Ashley and the employees' effort to try and make this little boy's Christmas enjoyable!" said Gas Dept. Manager Braxton Guinn.
