Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library The Friends are citizens who choose to help their local library. They are the "caring core" of libraries across the country.

Operating with a self-elected board of directors, they serve as the connecting link between the library and the community.

Calling all bookworms! 🐛📖

Sunday is National Book Lovers Day, and we’ve got the perfect way to celebrate. Join us for Book Lovers Trivia at 4pm at Normaltown Brewing Co. and you could take home a prize package filled with gift cards to the Athens Library Store & other literary goodies. Plus, sign up for or renew your Friends membership for a chance to win a $100 raffle basket! Grab a pint and play for these fantastic prizes while supporting the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library.
