CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Michelle Lowe didn’t know how to help her godson and his friend tie their neckties, so she flagged down a police officer, who lent a hand to the young men who were heading to have their senior photos taken.

"I just thought this is the way it should be," Lowe told FOX Television Stations. "I didn’t even realize the picture was being taken.

Officer Adam Price and teenagers Elijah Darling and Jalen Lewis spoke with FOX Television Stations about a kind gesture that's getting national attention.

Officer Adam Price pulled over and helped the two teens, first tying the ties around his own neck and then putting them on 18-year-old Elijah Darling and his friend, Jalen Lewis.

Our mission statement before anything is Safety and Security For All, but also Treat Others as I would want to be treated. As the world moves through social discord, LEB Psychology 101 understands and wants to become part of the movement to change the image of law enforcement officers. The truth is while there are a handful of officers that perform unjustly, there are many more that serve with dignity, respect, and would risk their life for you- but many of those stories go untold. As society moves toward improving or reforming policing, do not forget there are many entities that also must change for social justice improvement. Change begins at the executive level, judicial level, legislative level. Then Government and State. Judges, fair sentencing. Local Law enforcement Agency Administrators, and police academies. Before the mindset can change, the entire body that governs- protects, teaches, and instills behavior, bias (explicit or implicit) must change at higher levels before anything else can occur.

Many officers strive to be able to help and perform with dignity and pride. While there are many stories that shed a bad light on policing, we will not disagree with the truth. But we also want to share when good stories go unpublished or unknown... There are many officers wanting to help and will help without a second thought.
