Please Join Us For Our First PTO Meeting!

This Thursday, September 10th at 6pm in our cafeteria, AES will host our first Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting for the school year. All families are welcome to attend! Joining our PTO is a great way to support our faculty, staff and students. At our first meeting we will be holding a silent auction to raise money for our school! Here are a few of the great items that will be available at our silent auction:

Sports Memorabilia (framed prints, bobbleheads, footballs, etc)
Gift cards and gift baskets from local restaurants and businesses
Assistant Principal for a Day pass (AES students eligible)
Local experiences
Home decor items..and more!

PLUS, everyone who attends will be entered to win one of our door prizes, including a $50 Walmart Gift Card courtesy of Innovative Realty Solutions!

Doors will open early at 5:30pm for the auction to begin. We hope to see you there!

DEADLINE APPROACHING The 2026-2027 Free and Reduced Lunch Application deadline is approaching! Families must submit a new application each school year to be considered for benefits. Only one application per family is required. Please note that unless you receive an email confirming that your student has been approved for free or reduced-price meals, your child will be charged the full meal price. If you need assistance with the application, contact Dr. Tandy Blackwell, Child Nutrition Program Coordinator, at [email protected]. We’re kicking off our $2 World’s Finest Chocolate Bar fundraiser, and we couldn’t be more excited!

👉 Check your child’s backpack for the permission slip and let us know if you’re ready to help by selling one (or more!) boxes of chocolate.

Here’s how it works:

Return the signed permission slip to check out your first box and earn a prize!
Once you sell your first box and turn in the money, you can check out another.
🎯 Our goal: Sell 262 boxes to raise funds for much-needed educational supplies and materials for our school.

We had a great morning celebrating our Innovative Realty Solutions Students & Teachers of the Month! 🖤💛🦅

Our students were recognized for going above and beyond to make green choices and for demonstrating the characteristics of our ACS Portrait of a Graduate. We are so proud of the way they are making a positive difference at AES!

Our teachers were also celebrated for the many ways they make a difference each day and bringing incredible AES spirit to our school community. We are grateful for the dedication, energy, and care they pour into our students every day!
