We had a fin-tastic turn out at Fish Tag Friend-zy today! 50 tagged catfish were caught and redeemed for prizes, and hundreds were caught total. What a way to catch some memories at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center!

The ponds are stocked and ready for Fish Tag Friend-zy tomorrow, June 6th! Come on out with friends and catch a tagged catfish and win a prize. Free admission all day as well as hourly drawings for a year-to-date season pass package.

It’s tank turnover time at TFFC. The Striped Bass on display inside the Visitor Center grew large enough to head outside into the Reservoirs and Fishing Exhibit on the outdoor walkway. They spent a day in part of the exhibit to get used to the area and are now swimming with the big fish. Soon, smaller Striped Bass from Dundee State Fish Hatchery will be added to their indoor aquarium. Next time you visit, check out both schools of stripers.
