Former Deputy Director for Henderson County Juvenile Probation, Joe Ed Young passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. Mr. Young began his distinguished career with Henderson County in 1987 and retired in 2018. Joe Ed helped many youth and families throughout his career. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations to Trynten Parker for being certified as a Juvenile Probation Officer. He is a recent graduate of UT-Tyler and we are excited to have him on The Team. We look forward to seeing all the good work Trynten will do with the youth in Henderson County.

Congratulations to Wendi Pacheco for passing the State Certification Exam to become a Juvenile Probation Officer. Ms. Pacheco was hired by the Department in January. She is a graduate of Athens High School and the University of Texas at Tyler where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2018. She also worked at the Help Center for 4 years as a Community Educator/Family Advocate. We are excited to have Ms. Pacheco on our team.
