Our Story
The Georgian hotel was built in 1909. Anthony Ten Eyck Brown, designer of the Athens, GA Courthouse, next door, afforded the building with luxurious crown molding, oversized arch windows, Greek key designs throughout, tile entryway, beautiful stained glass in foyer and club room. The Georgian has always been first-class accommodations for its' patrons. The 1st hotel in the state of GA to have an air conditioned restaurant & the 1st to offer telephone service in every guest room. That fine level of service continued as the building made the transition to luxury apartments in 1985. In 2006, The Georgian continued to evolve into upscale luxe condominiums for sale in the heart of downtown Athens, GA. 2 blocks to UGA. Walkable Downtown at its best. Owners enjoy stellar location, grace and style, club room for entertaining and a private Members-Only Den on second floor. Enjoy SOUTH Kitchen + Bar Downstairs.
