We now take credit card payments at the library! If you saw our earlier post, you know that you can now make online donations to the Houston Memorial Library and Museum Foundation. But now you can also pay for books and memberships at the library with a credit/debit card as well as with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Just bear with us as we adjust to all this newfangled technology!

Donate now! The Houston Library now has the ability to accept online donations. We are still an old-fashioned library, so don't expect us to start using an online catalog or scanners at check-out or anything crazy like that! But we do want to make it easier for our patrons to support us.

Since we are a nonprofit organization, we kindly ask that you cover our 3.5% credit card processing fees in your donation. The system will automatically add 3.5% to the amount you enter to donate.

We keep adding more books to our shelves! This time, we've added quite a few fiction new releases from favorite authors. Stop in and check one out!

In the past week alone, the library has added over 60 books to our shelves! Some are recently published, while others are "new to us" books by popular authors like James Patterson, Michael Connelly, and Janet Evanovich. Drop by and see what's new!
