Classes will be held every Tuesday 6-9 for 10 weeks
Limestone Co. Need Homes for all ages, sibling groups and race

GIVE AWAY DAY for February 3, 2016 has been cancelled. The next Give Away Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2 from 9:00-11:00. We are sorry that our conference room will not be available for use in February.

Peace, Love & Animals 19135 Nuclear Plant Rd, Tanner, AL
Peace, Love & Animals need your shoes – but not for chews! They are hoping to collect at least 2,500 shoes to help their rescued dogs and cats -- many have required extra medical care when they have been rescued. THANKS TO WEST LIMESTONE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT!!!!! Scott Chittam and Dorea Chittam of West Limestone Volunteer Fire Department, presenting Jennifer Sampieri of DHR a "truck load" of winter coats, some hats, gloves and scarves. They estimated that the community donated 275-300 coats during their coat drive in addition to cash that purchased coats for some children in their community. A special thanks to Kay McFarlen of United Way who directed this group to our department.
Our Coat Give Away will be held on Wednesday, November 4 from 9:00-12:00 at the Limestone County DHR office. If anyone would like to donate new hats, gloves, scarves, or socks these will also be given out. If you would like to purchase a coat for a specific child, please call Jennifer White at 256-216-6411.
