Today, we dropped off towel donations for the South Rhea Animal Hospital. Our local vet offices and animal shelters are always looking for towels so, if you have any extra towels lying around, check in with your local vets and animal shelters!

Today we had the privilege to watch these students present a project they have been working on for several weeks ! CASA is grateful to be apart of students learning about different professions and resources in their local communities ❤️

Today, students in Mrs. Snyder’s Guidance and Social Services class presented their final Care Plan projects! Over the past several weeks, students worked in teams after being assigned unique client scenarios. Each group created a detailed care plan focused on meeting their client’s needs through short- and long-term goals, while also researching local resources and support services available in our community.

We were fortunate to have Chloe Hurt, CASA Executive Director, visit our class during the project to speak with students about the field of social work and meet with each group to provide guidance on supporting their clients effectively.

Today, Chloe returned alongside Halie Denis, CASA Court Supervisor, to watch presentations, offer valuable feedback, and even treat students to donuts! 🍩

A very special THANK YOU to our volunteers for taking the time to invest in our students, share your knowledge, and encourage the next generation of professionals who are passionate about helping others. Your support made this project even more meaningful! 💙
