📢 Changes in the Register of Deeds Office
As many of you know, due to recent county budget cuts, several offices are experiencing staff reductions-and unfortunately, our office was included in those changes.
Effective December 15th, the Register of Deeds Office will transition from a three-person staff to a two-person team. Because of this, there may be times when only one staff member is available in the office due to vacations, sick days, or other circumstances.
To maintain safety and awareness, especially when only one person is present, we will begin implementing a doorbell entry system starting today, Monday October 27th. Our office doors will remain locked, but please press the doorbell and a staff member will promptly assist you in the office.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we adjust to these changes and continue to serve the public as efficiently as possible.
