Penn-Delco School District Located in Southeastern PA, Penn-Delco is a public school district serving Aston Township, Brookhaven, and Parkside in Delaware County.

We educate over 3,000 K-12 students across four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The Penn-Delco School District embodies excellence in education. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has honored the District for achieving district-wide Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards for eight consecutive years. Penn-Delco is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania approximately 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia. The district encompasses Brookhaven and Parkside Boroughs and Aston Township. Approximately 3,300 students are enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 12. The district comprises six schools:

•Parkside Elementary School
•Pennell Elementary School

The latest U.S. Census (2020) estimate places the district's population at approximately 26,849. ENROLLMENT

Penn-Delco employs over 500 teachers, administrators and support personnel. The faculty represents more than 40 colleges and universities. BUDGET

TRANSPORTATION
The district's buses and vans transport more than 3,626 public and non-public pupils to school each day

Northley 6th-grade math teacher Mrs. Colleen Miller has been named a Sun East Federal Credit Union “Best Teacher Under the Sun” for the 2025-2026 school year! ☀️

Representatives from Sun East visited Northley yesterday to surprise Mrs. Miller with this special recognition. She was presented with a plaque and a $500 award, and Northley Middle School also received $500 in honor of her achievement.

Mrs. Miller was nominated for her outstanding dedication to her students and her ability to create a positive, supportive learning environment. Her commitment to inspiring and motivating students is reflected in their academic growth, increased confidence, and the strong sense of community she helps build each day. !

The weather could not have been more perfect for our Steel Pan “Sounds of Summer” concert last night. 🥁🏝️🎶

It was a beautiful evening of music and community, featuring a mix of traditional steel pan selections along with familiar favorites like “Isn’t She Lovely” and “Tequila.”

Students participated in the Aston Public Library bookmark contest, and we’re excited to celebrate our four winners.

Students from Northley’s Gaming Club participated in the inaugural Adapted Gaming Event at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Morton, PA!

Students and their teachers engaged in friendly competition with peers from districts across Delaware County. Our students participated in three rounds of gaming, followed by lunch and awards. This fun and interactive event celebrated inclusive play and the power of accessible technology in education.
