It’s hot out there! As you’re walking past the Commercial Avenue Butterfly Garden, take a moment to think about all the pollinators and plants working hard to keep our little ecosystem thriving through the heat.

Want to help? Kid- and adult-friendly watering cans are available at the rain barrel, so feel free to take a break, fill one up, and give the garden a little drink 💧

It’s a small thing, but it’s a nice way to connect with and care for the natural world right here in our neighborhood.

We’re pleased to announce that resident Francesca Gandolfi has been awarded a Community Grant for Neighbors at Work, a new initiative connecting Aspinwall’s remote and hybrid workers through in-person meetups at local businesses. The grant will fund the first three pilot events.

🎶 What a wonderful day at Porch Fest! We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.

A special thank-you to Tripp Clarke for planning and bringing Porch Fest to life, and for choosing our Soup Delivery Program as the beneficiary. Tripp has been a longtime advocate and supporter of the program, and we’re incredibly grateful for his continued commitment to our neighbors.

And thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day happen, to everyone who came out to enjoy the music, and to everyone who bought a Porch Fest T-shirt or made a donation to support Soup Delivery. Every contribution helps us continue providing hot soup and friendly connection to neighbors who could use a little extra support. 🍲💚
