**HYDRANT FLUSHING UPDATE**

A quick correction to our current Village newsletter: the newsletter lists hydrant flushing as taking place this week, but the schedule has changed.

Hydrant flushing will now take place October 5–9, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During flushing, residents may temporarily experience discolored water. This is normal and not harmful. We recommend avoiding laundry during flushing hours to help prevent staining. If your water is discolored, run cold water until it clears.

Please help us spread the word, and we apologize for any confusion caused by the date listed in the newsletter.

We’re excited to share these renderings showing what the Village of Ashville’s new Water Plant is expected to look like once completed!

The new facility will feature a clean, modern design that complements the surrounding area while providing the space and infrastructure needed to serve our community.

As construction continues, we look forward to sharing additional updates and milestones with residents. Please keep in mind that these are architectural renderings, and some details of the finished facility may vary.

The Village of Ashville Finance Committee will meet on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Agenda items include 2027 budgeting, a request to split JEDD revenue with South Bloomfield, and a Police Department request to amend the Sick Leave Policy.
