The partnership with the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) marks an important shift in how we safeguard families throughout the region. For years, Northern Chautauqua County students have traveled to our facility (one of only 26 of its kind in the United States) to build life-saving skills through immersive fire and traffic safety trainings. While these lessons provided the knowledge, a critical safety gap persisted: many children lacked the actual equipment needed to put their training into action.
NCCF funding is helping us reduce that gap. By providing physical fire safety ladders and financial support for more Northern Chautauqua County schools to attend our programs, this initiative ensures that financial barriers do not stand in the way of survival.
As a longtime supporter of the Chautauqua Safety Village, NCCF has consistently invested in the equipment and engaging programs that define our mission. By moving beyond the safety training to provide tangible life-saving tools, we are working together to ensure our community is not just informed, but fully prepared for the unexpected.
