Friday night was a true reflection of what makes Ashville so special.

What an incredible night.
We want to sincerely thank our community for the overwhelming support at our first-ever Flash & Dash event hosted by Ashville Parks & Recreation. The turnout exceeded all expectations, and it was truly amazing to see so many families come out and be a part of it.

With that level of support, we know there were longer lines than anticipated at times ,whether it was check-in, inflatables, or prize redemption and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout the evening. That kind of turnout is something we are incredibly grateful for, and while it presented some challenges, it’s a good problem to have.

As our first large-scale event, we now have a better understanding of what to expect, and we are already looking forward to building on this experience to make future events even bigger, smoother, and better for everyone.

This event would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, staff, volunteers, and public safety partners. Most importantly, it would not have been possible without a community that shows up the way Ashville does.

Thank you again for being part of such a special night. We are excited about what’s ahead for Ashville Parks & Recreation.
