Ashville Library The Ashville Free Library is very proud and grateful to all its many volunteers who give unselfishly each week to keep our facility open.

The Ashville Free Library's primary function is as a popular materials library and a community center, with a primary focus on supporting the information access needs of our patrons.

YWCA Jamestown and Chautauqua Institution recently announced that “LatinoLand: A Portrait of America’s Largest and Least Understood Minority” by Marie Arana has been selected as the common read book for the 5th Annual CHQ Book Read!

Ashville Library has a copy of the book ready to borrow! We're also helping to support this community event by hosting a discussion on Monday June 22 from 1-3pm.
