In 1992, nearly 400 volunteers built Carol Fox Park in Jersey Village, Texas with their own hands. Their names and handprints are still pressed into the concrete walkways today. When the structure reached the end of its life, the city faced a challenge — how do you replace something that meant that much to people? The answer started with a kraken. This is one of our favorite playground stories in a long time. 🛝
