Our Biology students put their scientific thinking to work by designing their own experiments to find out what keeps cut flowers fresh the longest!

Students are testing a variety of solutions, including:
Aspirin
Coconut water + bleach
Coconut water
Vinegar + sugar
Simple sugar syrup
Lemon juice + baking soda
Lemonade

Now we wait…

Join us Wednesday, September 23, for the Homecoming Parade at 5:30 p.m. downtown. After the parade, head back to the high school for the Homecoming Court announcement and bonfire!

Join us for Movie on the Lawn tonight at AFC Elementary School! The AFC Education Association will be selling concessions, with all proceeds going toward student scholarships. Our Student Leadership Team will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to pie a teacher in the face—one ticket gives you one chance to win! Additionally, every student who attends tonight will have their name entered into a raffle to win a donut party for their class. We hope to see you there!
