Visit Naturalist Breanna at the Log Cabin Days on September 12th and 13th. On Saturday, September 12th, we will have a biofact table set up, and from 4:00-5:00 PM, a Wildlife Biofact Education Program will take place. On Sunday afternoon, join Breanna from 1:00-2:00 PM for a casual walk to explore the Blakeslee Cabin property and observe the species growing there; if time permits, we will walk to the small pond further back. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are recommended as the path is mowed and uneven.

Join Naturalist Breanna on Thursday, September 10th, 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the Ashtabula County Library, 4335 Park Ave., Ashtabula for an engaging presentation on the wildlife of Ashtabula County. Learn about the unique physical characteristics of local animals, how they interact within their ecosystems, and the important roles they play in the natural world.
The program will explore the history of each species, human interactions with wildlife, and even some fascinating animal folklore.
Breanna will bring a selection of biofacts-such as antlers, a skull replica, tracks, or fur.

Senior Walking Group
Enjoy the scenery at Friends of Conneaut Creek Metropark, 27 Blakeslee Rd., Conneaut, by joining the Senior Walking Group on a lap or two around the paved trail on Tuesday, September 8th, 10:00 - 11:00 AM. These walks are slow-paced and about a mile in length. All ages are welcome.
