Did you know the library does outreach programs in the community?📚 One of the places we visit is Pathways, where we get to do activities with participants and share what’s happening at the library — including upcoming programs, events, and resources available to everyone.

Join us as we “Unearth a Story” at our 2026 Summer Reading Program kickoff party.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun, including inflatables, a visit from Peanut the Clown, and treats from Kona Ice and Sweet & Sassy Treats.

Stop by the Ashland branch of the Boyd County Public Library and celebrate the start of a summer full of stories and adventure.

What were you doing in 13,000 BCE? Probably not much, but a lot was going on! This month, the Japanese Culture Club is going back in time to discuss the Jomon Jidai (縄文時代) or the Jomon Period of Japanese history. Let’s learn about Stone Age pottery, people, and culture together!
