River Cities Harvest is excited to host our 2nd Annual Strike Out Hunger Bowling Fundraiser, and we want YOU to be part of the fun!

📅 Tuesday, April 14th, 2026
⏰ 6 PM – 9 PM
📍 Malibu Jacks – Ashland, KY

Grab your friends, coworkers, or family and put together a team of 4 for just $150. Even better—design your team shirts for a chance to win “Best Dressed Team!” 👕

This night will be full of friendly competition, great prizes, laughs, and community support, all while helping River Cities Harvest continue fighting hunger in our region.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Kentucky Power for their generosity and support this holiday season. Because of their help, we were able to provide meal bags for 120 families to ensure they have food on the days the Ashland Community Kitchen is closed.

These meals were prepared and distributed by River Cities Harvest and given out at the Ashland Community Kitchen with the help of United Way of Northeast Kentucky helping families stay nourished during the holiday season when resources can be limited.
Thank you, Kentucky Power for helping us care for our community and making a real difference for so many families. ❤️

🦌 Hunters for the Hungry – Donate Your Deer and Feed Local Families! 🧡

River Cities Harvest is proud to partner with Opell’s Meats again this season to support the Hunters for the Hungry program!

If you’re heading out into the woods, consider donating your harvested deer to help families right here in our community. Your donation will be processed at no cost to you and turned into nutritious venison that RCH will distribute to local food pantries and meal programs.

Your generosity helps put healthy protein on the tables of families who need it most. Thank you to our local hunters for always supporting our mission. 🧡

We ARE taking in deer for donation! It is easy! Bring your field dressed deer in, provide your confirmation number, and we will take it from there.
ALL donated deer will be processed and given to River Cities Harvest for distribution.

We are so grateful for our REALTORS®, Affiliates, and all who donated to our 2025 Food Drive for River Cities Harvest, donating over 300 pounds of food to help those in need!

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a nonprofit organization in Ashland, KY, that provides partnering agencies, advocates and volunteers a central facility and assists with collaborative programming which is needed to serve the community's at risk, in need and displaced citizens. River Cities Harvest would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Advocates for Appalachia, The Mill AKY, and Rachel Wilson for their incredible support this season. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, they helped raise awareness and collected over 1,500 pounds of turkeys, hams, and nonperishable food for our organization! 🦃🥫❤️

A huge thank-you to Mark Porter Chevrolet GMC Ashland for hosting our holiday food drive and helping us support both River Cities Harvest and Ashland Community Kitchen this season.

The donation truck is already starting to fill up — and it’s all because of this amazing community. 🙌 But there’s still plenty of room, and every can, box, and bag of food makes a real difference for local families right here in the Tri-State. ❤️
