🇺🇸 Guardian Battalion Regimental Ball 2026

Soldiers of 1-186th Infantry Regiment came together to celebrate the proud history of our Regiment, from the Ashland Rangers, to the Pacific Theater of World War II, to OEF and OIF, domestic operations, and the most recent MFO mission.

The evening honored tradition and sacrifice through a formal Grog Ceremony, inductions into the Order of Saint Maurice, and a solemn remembrance of our POW and MIA Soldiers from past wars.

The legacy lives on in every Guardian who wears the patch.

Once a Guardian, always a Guardian.

Welcome home, 1-186th Infantry!

Nearly 200 Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 186th Infantry Regiment were honored today during a demobilization ceremony at South Medford High School in Medford. The battalion returned from a nine-month deployment to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula where they served as USBATT 74 with the Multinational Force and Observers mission.

Thank you to the Jackson County Cattlemen’s Association for providing a generous BBQ meal for our soldiers and their families following the ceremony, and to the Guardian Battalion Association for their continued support of the 1-186th Infantry Battalion.
